  1. How Can You Help Your School?

    It's easy to help your school win $250 to $2,500. Just shop and log receipts from any of The Shops at Montebello stores and restaurants between September 15, 2012 and May 15, 2013. Your school earns ten points per dollar spent (five points for department store purchases), with lots of additional bonus points opportunities. Receipts can be logged at Guest Services anytime during the program. Remember to tell your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers to log their receipts.   2. Why Should I Participate?

    Free money for your school! Everyone has shopping to do. Why not help your school at the same time? Every participating school earns a prize, but how much is based on the total accumulated points earned by each school. So even the soda or latte receipt adds up! Logging receipts is easy to do – the Guest Services staff will note your receipt total, stamp the receipt and hand it right back to you. Many schools also collect their parents' receipts and log for them – just check with your school office. The Shops at Montebello is giving away $13,250 in gift cards this year to 20 participating schools.   3. More About Dollars for Scholars

    The Shops at Montebello has contributed nearly $80,000 to local schools through the School Cents program, which began in the 2006-2007 school year. Now called Dollars for Scholars, the program rewards 20 elementary and intermediate schools, and will add another $13,250 this year to support school and classroom projects.
